Market leader in Aluminothermic welding process for railroad applications, track maintenance tools, grinding services and many innovative products for railroad infrastructure is seeking a full-time Account Manager interested in joining our team.
The Primary function is improving the profitability of the company by growing sales of traditional and new products and services.
Identify opportunities for growth.
Must be able to successfully segment customers and markets and position the products to drive growth of the business.
Develop market intelligence and provide monthly reports of sales activities
Must be able to develop comprehensive market analysis resulting in insights to support marketing strategies.
Must contribute in establishing pricing for customers.
Track bids until contract is awarded.
Must be able to close deals.
Participate in railroad related trade shows.
Extensive travel is up to 75% for this position.
Significant Railroad (track maintenance) experience is required
Must have brilliant communication skills
Must be able to use office equipment and be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
Must have extremely good organizational skills
Must be able to work with colleagues of different nationalities and cultures
